Berenguer Blasi commented on CASSANDRA-18285:
---------------------------------------------
Hi,
- config.yml and the 11/17 one have left-overs of previous tests, probably to
illustrate the 'repeat' jobs. They need to be changed for the vanilla versions.
You can rebase and use the new '-s' to skip the auto-detection of changed tests.
- When we {{build_cassandra_dtest_jars}} we no longer test <4.0 branches. This
effectively means we will not test/support upgrading from <4.0 versions. Will
this be reflected in docs somewhere, maybe in some other PR dealing with all
the JDK changes?
That's what I could see. Tested:
- generate scripts apply patches cleanly
- all jobs are j11 flavored now
- no jobs have been missed
- generate scripts add/remove repeat jobs as needed
- etc

> Currently we test upgrades with Java 8, in preparation to drop it we need
> first to ensurer we test with 11. -This has to be added not only in trunk,,
> but also 4.1-
> This ticket will be used for trunk. A separate one will be opened for 4.0
> and 4.1.
> I believe [~mck] has this ready to push in Jenkins at some point so this
> ticket should accommodate the addition of those upgrade tests in CircleCI for
> 4.1 and trunk.
