So, for info, I create a [ccm
branch|https://github.com/pcmanus/ccm/commits/thrift_removal] that work with
this branch by basically skipping the thrift options when running C* 4.0. I'm
slightly reluctant merging that branch to CCM proper though because while this
ticket isn't committed, that might breaks some dtest running on trunk that use
thrift. Probably that's ok though, I'm just not sure what is the best way to
proceed. [~philipthompson], you might have some opinion here.
