Yes. Plus everything that Mike said on this thread today. As I said yesterday, there are three different autosave mechanisms available: Lion, Tiger, and in your case, probably a Legacy Home Brew. If you return YES in +autosavesInPlace, you are using Lion Autosave. If you return NO in +autosavesInPlace or do not implement +autosavesInPlace, you are *not* using Lion Autosave. The advice you've gotten from Mike and I assume that you are using Lion Autosave.
