Check out that -animationDidStop:finished: delegate method for CAAnimation.

I haven't really followed developments on OS X closely, so I welcome
other list members setting me straight, but AFAIK the block based
animation scheme available on iOS 4+ that makes code for what you are
trying to do trivial (and easier to read) is unavailable in OS X.
