I am not agreeing that "the test" can be performed. "The test" is to distinguish between a CFArray and an NSArray. What I am saying above is that it is possible to distinguish between a custom NSArray subclass and a subclass provided by the system. These are not the same thing. On another note, I find your habit of quoting what I say and then stating "so you really mean X" to be extremely irritating. I don't mind if you disagree with me, but please do so explicitly, rather than taking my own words and then twisting them to suit you.
