I finally have some news about this. I tried unsuccessfully to get some information about the failure by using DYLD and OBJC environment variables to print information about loaded executable images (the input manager simply does not show up). I also had him install another input manager, Safari AdBlock, and that one wouldn't load either! Then I finally had him try a different user account on the computer... and they both loaded! So his input managers are fine, his system will load them, but not in his original account. Weird, huh? Now I'm even more mystified than before. I'm sure this means something, but I don't know what. What would cause input managers to stop loading, but only in a single account?
