Hi
I have a java application that embeds WebView via Apple's Cocoa
Component
but in my window cursor doesn't change when I move mouse over
"interesting places"
it used to work (about 2 years ago)
in the old code I added webuidelegate method (ugly but it worked)
- (void)webView:(WebView *)sender makeFirstResponder:(NSResponder
*)responder
{
NSWindow *myWindow = [self window];
if ( (responder != nil) && ![responder isKindOfClass :
[NSTextField class]] &&
![responder isKindOfClass : [NSTextView class]] ) {
responder = myWindow;
}
[myWindow makeFirstResponder : responder];
}
but now (in 10.5.2) with that code my webview can't get any key event
I just hear beep, but cursor changes
if I comment "if" clause
key events work fine, but cursor doesn't change
I remember, previously (10.3.X) responder wasn't the same: it could be
NSTextView or NSTextField or something different
but now it is always WebHTMLView (something undocumented I suppose)
anybody can say what could be a problem?
thank you very much in advance
Dmitry Markman
