Those systems were/are very toxic, I think beyond what a mask can do. I recall 
the paint sprayer having his own air supply to breathe. They also had to wait 
for a windless dry day right after a rainstorm, which took some time. This was 
before paint sheds were a thing.

Joe, you are correct, as I recall about the only other alternative back then 
was imron, (not sure of spelling) which we used on a bot of mine, looked really 
good for w while!
