My elec bill approaches yours, but I have 34 solar panels on my roof. No one I
know has elec bill within the range cited by AI.

RI went green - going to depend on Solar & Wind. no coal, propane. and of
course no nuclear !!!

I am dreading my electric bill, Maryland very unwisely turned off our coal
fired power plants now in anticipation of solar cells and wind generators going
up in the future. My *boat* bill was $79 for power and $82 for transporting the
power from Pennsylvania and other states and the next bill is likely to be
higher.
