The best way to winterize is drain the raw water side. Flushing antifreeze through is good also. I would also flush with saltaway, or something similar first. Let that sit for a few hours to overnight . Then do your winterize process. When I put Rebecca Leah away for the summer here in Mexico, I flush with salt away, and give it a fresh water rinse.
