For the rudder post grease fitting I utilize a hydraulic hose that screws into the fiberglass tube and the other end is easily reachable from the starboard locker. It has stripped the threads of the fiberglass wall of the rudder tube. The wall is pretty thin so not many threads actually engage. Thinking of epoxy a nut to the tube but uncertain how to keep threads clean and will the nut hold? Comments and suggestions welcome.
