If this is the first time, there is a possibility there is water in the fuel
due to condensation forming over the winter. Pull the Racor filter and
check for water. If so, drain as much as you can, then dump some fuel
treatment into the tank and run the engine for an hour or so. Should be
effective and solve the problem. Might be a good time to replace the filter
element as well.

Subject: Stus-List Engine strangeness

I am out for the first time this season. Engine started right up. Motored
out of harbor for two hours. Turned engine off for a while waiting for wind.
Started back up. Ran for 15-30 sec and died. Started up and ran for a bit
longer then died. Pulled bed to get access and fuel pressure and level in
racor look fine. Started up and ran fine for 40 min. WTF? Dave
