Just received a two pound roll of Butyl Tape from Amazon.
3/4" wide x 1/8" thick x 30 feet long. $13.

Delivery was free but it took a month to get here. Looks better than the stuff
I bought from SailRite as the paper separator is much heavier and shouldn't
deteriorate into the butyl like the SailRite product did. It's a darker color
than Bed-It and the wider tape means a change in prep, but should serve well.
I can proceed with rebedding things and maybe be ready for Spring.

My thanks go to Paul and the list for the advice. The link is below.
