Be prepared to replace the idler plate under the pedestal. The original plate is steel which suffers from corrosion. Edson doesn’t make a direct replacement. The one that they sell is quite a bit thicker, requiring a spacer between the cockpit sole and the pedestal. I had a machine shop fab one and used drilled bolts to mount the idler pulleys. Fortunately the pedestal comes off easily. Check out the Edson video on their website for pedestal maintenance.
