I've only sailed on three or four different C&Cs but they've all been great boats. The 30-1 likes a bit more wind than some with what seems to be a sweet spot around 12-15kt. The boat is solid and like a great machine, it behaves just like one expects; no surprises. I was able to race the Chi-Mac race on a sistership. When the wind hit 35kt, we were still doing well. It didn't do so well in the three kt at the beginning of the race. It handled the wave action well. All around great boat.RonWild CheriC&C 30-1STL
