Hey Richard, My daughter serves with the Coast Guard there in Louisville so I have a vested interest your situation there. We visited in June and learned about the river height and how it changes so much during the year. One tip was seeing the piling are higher than those seen in Maine.
I believe NOAA predicts the rise will happen Fri/Sat. Anyway, I hope your boat fairs well and please share photos or webcams where a guy in New Jersey can observe this amazing event.
