It must be that time of year again. I just received my “official” Vessel Documentation Portal letter to renew my Federal documentation. For those new to the list, this is a scam. Although this private service will renew your documentation, the cost is much higher than the normal annual fee. You can renew directly with Homeland Security through the Falling Waters office.
