If you compare the Boatleather with padding with the Edson Comfortgrip  (what I 
have now), the Boatleather is about $100 cheaper with the thinner leather (I 
presume what the Edson is) and about $40 cheaper with the thicker leather.  I 
will likely go with the Boatleather and get the thicker leather with padding.
