I sawr a video, I think on Jamestown Distributors, where they used a hair dryer
to draw out the bubbles in that heavy epoxy.

I tried something different on the floors. After lightly sanding, I used 2
coats of Topcoat epoxy on the floors and then a floor polyurethane gloss above
that for hardness and UV protection. I get lots of compliments as the floors
looks glossy and wet. A coat of Topcoat is something like 60 coats of varnish,
at least per Topcoat's advertisement on the packaging.

I've had the floors in place for a year now and no issues.

Topcoat is inexpensive for epoxy at $60 for a gallon at Home Depot and is made
for table tops and the like. It made for a beautiful and thick clear coat over
the original flooring. I need to do one thin coat over the bottom of the
boards now too.

My only lesson learned is to seal the floors before applying Topcoat.
Otherwise, you risk small bubbles. Those drove me nuts and I ended up sanding
and re-applying to try to avoid. I learned later that sealing the wood first
would have made the most difference. I tried a torch to remove bubbles and had
only limited success.
