Our traveler is just forward of the binnacle. I think it was a custom factory job. Seems solid but I have no idea if the parts where it is anchored were reenforced or not.

Looking for guidance. Has anyone moved the traveler on a 34+ aft to the binnacle area? The boom is almost 15? long, and the traveler is only 5? from the mast, giving horrible purchase upwind. Looking to move it closer to end boom sheeting, but worried about structural integrity to support the traveler.
