You will need a rigger and a diesel mechanic for a thorough survey. For a quick engine check, make sure the engine starts and runs normally and the oil is just oil, no coolant mixed in. Specific to a Landfall 38, you might want to crawl back by the fuel tank and make sure there is no diesel seeping out of it.
