The way the Amsoil fogging oil instructions read is to run the engine and
while running spray the oil into the intake until it dies.  Then remove
spark plugs or glow plugs to spritz the cylinders.  Once spritzed you roll
the engine with the starter or pull cord to spread the oil and push out the
extra.  If the oil kills the engine then it certainty seems unlikely to run
away.  As stated before I also cut off the fuel AND pull the decompression
levers.
