Since we agree our boats are probably not symmetrical, I suggest you racers out there factor in your favoured tack and use it to your advantage. I have no intention of feather boarding my keel and rudder for symmetry, there is cold beer in my refrigerator too! C&Cs still pass 99% of the competition and look good doing so! Len
