I just noticed what appears to be a fairly long extension of the prop shaft beyond the support on the 35-2 pictured here:

I recall reading a survey on a boat I was considering where the surveyor commented on excessive prop shaft extension as a possible cause of vibration. As this boat has a VW diesel (not sure of the transmission), I am wondered if the shaft might be too long. How does this compare with other 35s? -- Shawn Wright shawngwri...@gmail.com
