Hi Eric,I had the same issue with one of my windows. To remove I use a windshield removal tool. m.harborfreight.com/windshield-removing-tool-60298.html?utm_referrer=direct%2Fnot p Works great for cutting the tape. Once the window is out the old tape will come right off by rolling with your thumb. On reassembling make sure corners are rounded, window lip is Smith and clean. I clean that with acetone. Also I rough up the plexi with red scotchbrite, then clean with alcohol. Another thing I learned is don't let the window be exposed to sunlight til the sealant is cured. The plexiglass expands a lot when exposed to sunlight. On my 38LF I put in plexiglass companion way doors. At night there was 1/8 inch gap, in sunshine 1/8 overlap. My theory is that the sealant will compress much easier than it will stretch and stay bonded to the plexiglass.

I used the VHB tape and the 3m building caulk. 3 out of 4 seemed to come out ok, but on the fourth the tape did not bond very highly. It started on the very front of the stb port, but I was on the boat when it was raining and it seems the seal failed in multiple places. I can push separation between the window and deck in a few spots and the caulk didn't seem to bond. I am hoping I can get the window of without breaking it, but then will need to get the tape and caulk off to start over. Anyone face this? Eric BaumesS/V Hee Soo 34/36?
