Here’s what I went with when we outfitted Alera for cruising in the PNW. 44 lb Rockna, 100’ 5/16 chain, 200’ 9/16 rode here. No longer available Quick Genius 1000 windlass.
Though, I have no idea if that would be appropriate in the Islands.
