Hello Listers, On these really, hot days here on the Chesapeake, I am looking for ways to best cool the interior of my C&C 30-2, but I can't afford to give up interior space for a "built-in" air-conditioning system. Nor, can I afford to store below one of those Cruise-Air Units that go in the forward hatch. So far, I've found a 5K btu Frigidaire unit on both Amazon and Lowe's, and also a 12volt DC unit [but I think this is one of those evaporative coolers that requires a water supply and it's very pricey at nearly $300].
Has anyone had success with a small portable, window unit and care to share their experiences?? Thx!!! Pete W. Siren Song C&C 30-2 Deltaville, VA.
