Sorry Sean

I thought it was Joe looking for a Genoa

I looked at my sail and it is in fact a furling Genoa.

It is an Ullman Sail.

The bag/cover states Crown 34

Here are the measurements.

Leech: 33.8

Luff: 43.4

Foot: 13.7

LP: 12.3

Condition: Very good

It was surveyed by Dave O’Conner at UK sails in Bellingham WA, last fall
(10/21/16).

You are welcome to text me at 360 914 2155

If we can figure out shipping I am willing to do that for you.

Then if you want to pay me something when you get it. I will leave that up to
you.

I have no use for it on my 38-ft.

I have a friend who has a 35.5 Beneteau and just bought a new genoa, so he has
no use for it.

It is up to you.

Larry

Joe

Where are located

I have a furling headsail, I believe it is furling, I will open it and look at
it later. It came with the boat, but it is too small, I believe the bag says
33. I can look up the dimension later and give them to you.

If you are in my area you can just have it. It is in good shape.

I believe these are the measurements. I had all my sails surveyed.

Like I said you are welcome to it.

I live near Seattle, on an island and shipping is a pain.

FYI:

My furling genoa is about 95% used up. I have been looking for one for about 3
years now and no luck. NO ONE is getting rid of a nice furling genoa unless the
boat sank. Racing sails – plenty of them. If the sail is the wrong size or it
needs a cover, you are looking at $500 minimum to get it going. Adapting some
odd sail is liable to give you so-so results at best. Bacon’r will make me a
NEW 130 for about $1800, which IMHO is way better than almost any used sail I
will ever find. I would expect $3,000 or so to get me a quite nice new sail and
cannot imagine paying that for a used one.

I would steer clear of these sails.

A mylar genoa does not sell for 7000 on a 34. Approx 5000 CAD. Maybe a slight
bit more. … and What is a Mylar genoa??? Mylar is a film that covers the
strands that give the sail strength. Aramid? Kevlar? Other?

I have not seen one of these two tone sails in many years. That makes these
sails very old. Old sails with mylar film are brittle and wear badly

Just my thoughts. $3000 for a used sail of this age is robbery

Had a beautiful day sailing off the coast of NH the other day in 15kts, but
unfortunately we blew out our aging genoa. Wondering if any 34 owners have a
good-very good Roller Furling genoa that you might be looking to sell. I'm
looking for something between 130-155%. I'm willing to pay up to $750 and
have a couple of spinnakers (.6 and .75) that I might be willing to trade.
Thanks for the consideration.
