Danny, The conversion kit ran me around $130 when I bought it during a Defender sale. See http://www.defender.com/product.jsp?path=-1%7C328%7C2290035%7C2290039&id=3472976 <http://www.defender.com/product.jsp?path=-1|328|2290035|2290039&id=3472976>
Converting the cable took me 15-20 minutes. The boat side took about an hour because I had to drill new holes. As long as the bottom of your inlet isn’t up against the deck, that conversion will also be 15-20 minutes.
