There is a difference between the amount of max draft and the location of max draft.
Mast bend affects the amount of maximum draft. Luff tension or cunningham affects the location of maximum draft. For a headsail, headstay sag affects the amount of maximum draft. Halyard tension affects the location of maximum draft. Dennis C.
