7w / 12v = 0.58 amps 0.58amps * 2 people = 1.16amps 1.16 amps * 8 hours = ~10 Amp-Hours
10 AH isn't too bad as long as you have a reasonable charging system. Engine or solar. I imagine that if you tried to power them off of their own transformers that 10 AH would go up close to 20 or 30AH with all the losses in the inverter and wall transformer.
