Another vote for butyl tape. It depends on kind of caulk you are trying to remove. McKanica works pretty well on Silicone. If it's a urethane caulk, mechanical methods and Debond may work. Butyl tape will probably respond to mineral spirits, but is easy to remove mechanically, anyway.
