I have an old Autohelm 5000 autopilot...yes it appears to be original. Boats obviously relatively new for me and although an autopilot is on the wish list, its not here yet. If this thing doesn't work or isn't worth even trying, then I'll immediately ripping it out. I'd use the controller hole immediately for something else. Here are the pics of the pieces. It seems to be all there and I'm not sure where to start to test. Not in the water yet.
