I know it is a long shot, but does anyone know what the right part is to replace the red shifter cable on a 1978 C&C27, equipped with the factory Yanmar? I gather that the cable is a semi standard part, from previous comments on similar situations, but I will have to remove it to get exact measurements and that looks like a lot of dissassembly, and then wait for the part to be ordered in.
