Spent a few hours on Alianna today, cigar and some refreshment, checking for leaks, rain here hard and heavy this afternoon, very pleased, no deck leaks at all and she has hundreds of deck penetrations including the toe rail penetrations too many to count, the 5200 that I used to rebed the fixed portlights in my Beckson windows is sound with no leaks after 2 weeks, only time with more will tell how this repair holds up over the long run but right now I am happy: Alianna is 41 year old C&C 35 MKII and no leaks in the cabin, and very little if any weeping from the stuffing box, she's almost a dry boat but never will be a dry boat because the mast is keel stepped and some rainwater gets in from above and travels down the inside to the bilge...I do believe however that my little 800 GPH auto bilge pump may not turn on very often this year. All this good stuff and Father's Day too, great!
