Hi Allen, Defender sells the wire to rope halyards. All rope halyards can work in your sheaves if they are not chewed up. The choices for halyards are many, mostly driven by cost. I like Chrystalyne or V100 for Jib and main halyards. The halyards on my 36 footer are 3/8". You may be able to go smaller to save bucks, weight and windage. APSltd.com can advise: 800-729-9767. I'd pay the extra moeny let them professionally splice on your schackles.
