Paul, What part of the country will you be living? If it is someplace where you will have the boat closed up during the winter months (for keeping the heat in). I highly recommend a room dehumidifier. This keeps the moisture at bay that is produced while living aboard during the winter months. Here in the PNW I get about 1 gallon of water every 2 days. and I don't do much cooking, nor do I shower aboard. Hope this helps. Doug Mountjoy Pegasus LF38 Ballard, WA
