Did you strip right down to bare wood? If so what method did you use for stripping? Chemical, sanding, scraper?
The video on Jamestown distributor says he scrapes and believes that keeping the scraper sharp, maybe 4 passes before resharpening, is the best and cleanest method. Very little dust, very little wood removed.
