I started racing Touche' with the 170. Came with a 6 second penalty. Did a 100 mile distance race, 15 miles upwind and then 85 miles under the chute. Using the chute, the 6 seconds was indeed a penalty. Took the 170 off the boat, amended my PHRF cert to 155% max sail and got 6 seconds. Never looked back.
