"wished I was dead" Been there in 1972. It was Seagrams VO in my case. I attribute that for my avoidance (to date) of alcoholism. And maybe sailing a little cause that is hard to do when you're just a teeny unbalanced..

They all cause nausea, vomiting, blindness and then death. With ethanol, the blindness and death are pretty close together and death is the ultimate blindness.
