Ray,

On my C&C 38 the bilge pump is routed into the overboard discharge of the sink
in the head.  If the discharge line becomes partially or fully blocked, the
bilge water will back up into the sink.  I would first check the overboard
discharge valve and ensure it is fully open.  If it is open, then most likely
you have some gunk in the hose.

Good luck!

Pat

I have a 1985 C&C 33-2.  I just noticed that the sink in the head was backing
up.  The sink has not been used at all.  What would cause this?  What is the
plumbing configuration and are there any diagrams available?  Any help is
greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Ray
