Be careful. I would expect the water from your engine cooling system to be
warmer than 110. Most thermostats are set to closer to 160 - 180 degrees,
which would be far too hot. You might need a mixing valve to regulate the
temperature. That complicates the installation quite a bit. I could be
wrong, though. Wouldn't be the first time.

Subject: Stus-List Set up of shower in Cockpit

I wanted to run a thought by the list to see if my thoughts to install a
small handheld shower in the back of the cockpit for rinse of and showering
at the area of the wheel are feasible. My positive reasons for this is extra
room and ease of draining and overall cleaning. I am considering connecting
to the input hot water line before it enters the water heater coming from
the engine. The boat is on fresh water , hence I would have unlimited volume
of water available, I assume the water would be pure and clean even though
it has gone through the engine cooling (heating) system, I also assume the
temperature of the water to only be in the 110 degree level at best, and
there is a recirculating pump (that normally recirculates the water from the
engine through the heat exchanger) that can power the water to the shower
wand. So where is my thinking flawed?

Thanks,
