Don’t forget to properly fuse the wire within seven inches of the connection to +12VDC!!! This fuse should be sized to protect the wire going to the pump switch. There should also be a fuse closer to the pump, sized per the pump instructions; this is to protect the pump from overheat/fire in case the shaft or impeller seizes.
