It’s when the $#!+ hits the fan and I’m more or less single-handing that I 
really want the autopilot to be rock-solid.  If the wind comes up fast and I 
need to get sails down, being able to have Otto keep the bow into the wind 
while I work is critical.  My Simrad WP30cx wheelpilot will only just do that.  
I’d feel a lot better with a strong below-deck pilot instead.  Of course, I’d 
feel a lot better if I won the lottery, too…   :^)   Below-deck pilots are 
expensive.  But if they’re installed correctly, they’re worth every penny.
