Racoons, urban wolverines!

I was merely trying to illustrate how "wildlife starved" we are here in
Toronto. The closest I get to nature is freeing the racoon from the
garbage. The first time I did it the club manager later asked me about it
and said that he usually "lets out the family". I said, "what family, there
was only one". "Oh" he says, "last night was garbage pickup, they must have
been taken away". The little guy was alone from then on.

Now squirrels, don't even get me started. Rats with bushy tails, I hate the
things.

I did forget the annual duck family at the club. The manager feeds them and
they get so friendly they've been known to come right inside if we keep the
door open!
