And I agree too.I would never use it in a quiet anchorage and disturb the
serenity.hell I don't even turn my engine on in the morning to heat hot
water so mostly we shower after steaming to an anchorage at the end of the
day.I don't appreciate those noisy power boats either.that's why I sail.but
having a generator on board can get you out of trouble if you accidentally
discharge your batteries and can't get your engine started.and mine does
give lots of 110 AC power and 12 V DC power too.I feel better when I have
backup power.if someone really need a hair dryer I would be able to
accommodate just about anything they would have.but we prefer nature dry as
I said in an earlier post

I agree. At a quiet anchorage a quiet Honda genset gets awful loud. They
don't work underwater either when they fall off swim platforms. Aaw...

You might not hear it much, but I will hear it very well and I will row over

Looking good is very important, no matter the cost you have to get something
to dry that hair while she's on the boat or she may not like being on the
boat and that will be a drag.the Honda generator may be your best bet, with
an extension cord she will be able to use the dryer of her choice and it
does have many other uses, like lights, charging batteries, power tools and
home or cottage backup.put it up on the bow on a sound damping rubber pad
and you hardly even hear it
