I really like the SS floorboard fasteners posted by Marek, but a cordless drill 
with the right tip can remove many screws very quickly for inspection. I'll 
stick with the screws.

I have seen some quick release fasteners for that. Here is one example:

They aren’t the cheapest solution, but they might be worth it.

I am redoing my cabin floorboards. Previous owner had them screwed down. Very 
difficult to remove for inspection. 
Anyone have link/suggestion for other options for securing with better access? 
I thought I had saved a similar question but can't find it.
