| I have to run some new wire for a solar panel and the tank monitor. I was at West Marine yesterday looking at wire and I had the option of duplex wire or single strand wire. The duplex was significantly cheaper per foot since it included both wires instead of buying each color separately. But I notice that nearly all of the existing wiring on the boat is single strand.
