Jim (et al)

Some hockey players sail very well. One in particular comes to mind: The
first time I sailed Canadian Youth Nationals (as a 17 year-old representing
Manitoba in 1984), there was this huge guy from Brockville who killed us
all and won the whole thing without breaking a sweat. He then nailed the
world youth championships, won the world Finn championship twice and also
sailed for Canada in the 92 Olympics (and would have medaled had he not
been DSQ'd in a race he won because he didn't have a PFD in his boat).

Once his pro sailing career was over, he then joined the Ottawa Senators
and played NHL hockey. He was also captain of the Canadian national hockey
team for a spell. I kid you not.

(If he wasn't such a nice guy, I call him an asshole for being so good at 2
different sports)

Colin
