You could try this of tea light candles and clay planter pots for a heater on board - as recommended by Practical Boat Owner.. I haven't tried it, but it looks like a neat idea.

Worked like a charm, and while I can't comment on all the ones out there, this one was rated safe for indoor use when I bought it.. (I also used it extensively when we lost power before Christmas and it worked like a charm) Cheers, Colin On Wed, Jan 8, 2014 at 2:00 PM, Steve Thomas <sthom...@sympatico.ca> wrote: > I make a Thermos of hot tea when single handing in cold weather. > It is amazing the restorative power that a few ounces of a hot drink can > have. > > Steve Thomas > C&C27 MKIII > > > -----Original Message----- > *From:* CnC-List [mailto:cnc-list-boun...@cnc-list.com]*On Behalf Of *Andrew > Burton > *Sent:* Wednesday, January 08, 2014 1:51 PM > *To:* cnc-list@cnc-list.com > *Subject:* Re: Stus-List friggin COLD > > A pot of stew or chilli festering on the stove is a wonderful thing to > warm up the cabin on a cold day.
